Group Stage Rules

•  Participants must select exactly 2 teams from each of the 12 groups (A through L) that they predict will advance to the knockout stage.

•  A group is scored as correct (2/2) only if both selected teams advance. If only one or neither team advances, the group is incorrect.

•  To advance to the knockout stage, participants must correctly predict at least 6 out of 12 groups (50%).

 

Knockout Stage Rules

In the knockout stage, participants must predict one advancing team (the winner) for every matchup.

To advance to the next round, you must be correct on at least the required number of your selections in that round.

Advancement Thresholds:

•  Round of 32 (16 matches): Must be correct on at least 8 to advance.

•  Round of 16 (8 matches): Must be correct on at least 5 to advance.

•  Quarterfinals (4 matches): Must be correct on at least 3 to advance.

•  Semifinals (2 matches): Must be correct on at least 2 to advance.

•  Final (1 match): Pick the champion.

Participants who fall short of the required threshold in any round are eliminated. Only those who meet or exceed the required number advance to the next round. The player(s) who advance the furthest — or survive until the end of the tournament — are the Survivors.

 

Auto Pick Rules

•  All picks for a stage must be submitted before the stage begins.

•  If a participant fails to submit their selections by the deadline, they will receive Auto Picks.

•  Auto Picks are assigned to the favorite to advance in each matchup, based on Las Vegas betting odds at the time of the cutoff.

Participants are strongly encouraged to make their own selections. Auto picks cannot be changed once assigned.

 

Entry Limits & Deadlines

•  Maximum of 9 entries per participant.

•  All picks must be submitted through soccersurvivor.net.

•  Group Stage Deadlines: Picks for each group are cut off at the posted deadline, which is when the first match of that group begins.

•  Knockout Stage Deadlines: Participants have until the game time (kickoff) of each individual match to submit their picks.

•  Picks cannot be changed after the deadline has passed.

 

Winning the Pool

To win, all you have to do is be a Survivor — the last player(s) standing at the end of the tournament.
